While “Cough Cool” (the first song ever recorded by the Misfits) appears on this compilation, it is not the original Misfits 7-inch version. The original recording can be found exclusively in the Box Set or on the out of print 7-inch itself.
Caroline Records initial release of limited edition vinyl LPs in 1995 included 6,000 red vinyl LPs, 3,500 green vinyl LPs and 500 clear vinyl LPs. Once inserted into sleeves, shrink-wrapped and shipped to stores, fiends had no idea what color vinyl they’d receive until opening the LP.
