After "Bitte recht freundlich" (2007) and "Desorientierungspunkte" (2008) Front swing to the big throw: the best RetroPunkrecord for years with the nice title "Zur Lage der Automation" ("To the position of the automation"). Wonderful anachronistic Punkrock, who orientates itself on the best times of GermanPunk/New Wave/NDW in the beginning of the 80s. Front grasp the sound and feeling of this time in a perfect way and are so authentic and honest that it doesn’t matter if they stick to relics. The former cover band has grown up and brings you 11 minimalistic LofiTrashsongs on this album, which don´t need to hide musically as well as textually. Bands like Male, Mittagspause or S.Y.P.H. are their maininfluences, but Front do find their own way: sometimes with some excursions to 80sdiscomusic,always with their danceable, neatly, absorbing, melodic songs. The lyrics are short, sometimes sloganlike but never stupid. Peter Hein from Fehlfarben couldn`t do it better. 11 own songs plus a coverversion of Male`s classic "Risikofaktor 1:X", "Zur Lage der Automation" comes as a cd with thick booklet and lp with textinlay and downloadcode for the whole album!
