Canada is on fire (I mean that in the best possible way). And this debut 7″ is just another great example of the amazing things that seem to be coming out of that country every time I turn around. But frankly, while this band comes from a fairly small town near Nova Scotia, I don’t think listeners would be surprised if they guessed they were from Texas, as they seem to have really captured that nervous and haunting garage rock sound that bands like Occult Detective Club and Hex Dispensers have perfected over the years.
