Effluxus is a five piece band from San Francisco, California, who formed in the summer of 2011. Effluxus features former members of Morpheme, Yadokai, Sanctum, and Detonize. Effluxus play a blistering, harsh, and brutal style of "Headache" hardcore with a great use of Japaneese style hardcore within their sound. Effluxus featues a blown out sound complete with buzzsaw guitars, hauntingly hollow vocals, and a seething/volatile undercurrent that's just waiting to bubble to the surface. Fans of bands like No Power, Lotus Fucker, and Churchwhip.
