Shortly after being chased out of India for lewd behaviour onstage, "flower punk" quartet Black Lips expose their fifth album. 200 Million Thousand is as sketchy as the band's grasp of numbers, but pleasingly so. It harks back to the days of 1960s garage rock, embracing fuzzy guitars, brevity, cheap production values and lazy, pre-punk sneers. The stoned atmosphere may account for the album's occasional inconsistencies, but the surfeit of infectious moments - try to get "Drugs" out of your head after a couple of listens - is compensation enough.
