It's been two years since the Green Beret released it's demo. While we waited the folks up north were carving out their piece of the totem of modern d-beat. They took out a big chunk and were able to give us ten wonderful new songs. What a welcome surprise to have this crisp, well-toned recording that really lets the guitars lay bare and be heard without the crutch of lazy noise-saturation. A sturdy Side Two release with care and attention paid to every pick-slide, every squeal of feedback, every battered tom. "Bloody Summer," "Violence is Their Currency" (re-recorded), "Vultures," "Death Drug Psychosis" are among my favorite tracks.
